Worsley Companies Offer Opportunity to Provide Relief to Our Nation’s Disabled Heroes with Purchase of Coffee

From February 28 – March 27, 2006, the Worsley Companies’ stores donated $.05 from each cup of coffee sold to the Coalition to Salute America’s Heroes, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to disabled servicemen and women who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan. At the end of the promo, we had raised $9,129.50 for the Coalition.

The Coalition has provided emergency financial relief, handicap-equipped homes, career resources, and many other services to disabled servicemen and women, and hopes to do much more,” said Ray Clifford, vice president of the Coalition.

With so many of our stores in military areas such as Fayetteville, Jacksonville, Sumter, Charleston, it is important for us to stay proactive and support the community and its families who have fought so hard for our freedom.
